Birthday Wish List
Since my birthday is just around the corner, I thought I would compile a wish list of things I would like that I can't or won't buy for myself at this moment in time.
A hot air balloon ride
A Plasma 27" Flat screen Tv
A regular 32 inch Tv
A pedicure
I-Pod
Anything really, just something suprising and something unexpected.
I have no plans this year yet, and usually I would be fine w/ that, but this year I don't really want to spend it alone.
How about some suggestions or stories of things that you might have done on a particular birthday?
Last year, I spent my birthday w/ people that I barely knew at an outdoor movie. I had 2 drinks, saw 50 First Dates, and saw a particle of a meteor soar through the atmosphere. It was a pretty good birthday. I don't need all the fan fare, just a nice quiet day w/ friends. I'm not even going to see my family on my birthday this year.

Surprise us all and fly over!
My most memorable birthdays have included my 17th where I climbed a mountain to have a birthday picnic, my 18th where I went paintballing and last years where I had a surprise do with karaoke in my garden.
I love birthdays! I hope you have a great one. And that $40 bus ride? I may just have to take you up on that at some point this summer!

The best birthday I had in recent memory was at Nobu in TriBeCa. The food there is incredible although it's really expensive, which is why I only go on special occasions. It also happened to be my first visit to New York after Sept. 11, 2001.
Most of my recent birthdays have involved bowling. I'm not very good at it but it's a great excuse to get drunk and throw things.
