3. I didn't get the job I applied for at work, not even an interview, obviously someone was hand picked.

Yes with number 1!!! Its the same with light coloured tops and dark coloured bra's, it pisses me off something chronic.
Number 2 - I hate painted toenails, I dunno, there's something repulsive about it.

i say dont wear any underware, don't wear open toed shoes cause everything goes down, and sorry about the job too, i know u had your hopes up, maybe its time to look for a new job. mmmmmm
Painted toenails can look cheap sometimes. Polished usually does the trick.
